Season 2024-25 was our best yet and HGMC is so grateful for the support of our audiences at our concert series in December 2025 and June 2026, as well as our community outreach events. 

We had the privilege of our first community outreach performance in Amherst, NS, this year, and made our second visit to Truro, NS, as part of our June 2025 Wanderlust concert series.  

Our Halifax Pride 2025 events in July were a great success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for QueerBaret, our cabaret-style fundraiser featuring individual choristers and duets, as well as We’re here, We’re Queer, our joint performance with Quoir, Polaris and the Women Next Door. 

Season 2025-26 promises to be our biggest yet, featuring our hit Don We Now Our Gay Apparel concert series December 11, 12, 13, 2025, and Disney Pride in Concert, April 10, 11, 12, 2026, where HGMC will perform with Symphony Nova Scotia. Tickets for Disney Pride go on sale as of August 20, 2025 on symphonynovascotia.ca.

New Members – Open Rehearsals September 4 and 11, 2025.

Interested in joining HGMC? Join us for one or both of our open rehearsals on September 4 and 11, 2025, at 7pm at St. Andrew’s United Church. HGMC is an un-auditioned, community choir. For more information check out our New Members page. Please note, HGMC will only have new member intake in September 2025. There will be no new member intake in January 2026.
