Your First Steps With HGMC

We welcome new members during our open rehearsals, which offer an opportunity to experience the chorus firsthand.

No formal audition is required, and singers of all experience levels are welcome. Whether you've sung in a choir before or are trying something new, we'd love to hear from you.

What to Expect

Weekly Rehearsals

HGMC rehearses every Thursday from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Harbour United Church, 6036 Coburg Road, Halifax. Regular attendance is an important part of membership as we prepare for our concerts and performances throughout the year.

Membership Dues

Membership dues are $140 for the fall term and $210 for the winter/spring term. Financial assistance is available through our bursary program.
